India and Pakistan are up against each other in the 19th game of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Babar Azam won a good toss and opted to bowl first at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

The conditions in New York have been ideal for fast bowlers so far and Pakistan's formidable pacers will be looking to make the most of it. With Pakistan having a number of pacers who can change the course of the game in a matter of few deliveries and India having a formidable batting lineup, the India vs Pakistan contest promises to be a good contest.

Before the arch-rivals fight it out on the cricket field, a hilarious incident took place at the toss. Rohit Sharma was at the center of the incident as the India skipper showed his absent-mindedness once again. After Ravi Shastri asked the India star to throw the coin, he was waiting to receive the coin from the match referee before realizing that he had the coin in his pocket.

Watch the hilarious incident involving Rohit Sharma:

Speaking at the toss, Rohit said that he would have liked to bowl first as well as he said: "Would've bowled first too. We need to assess how conditions play and come up with an idea of what a good score is. Those games have helped us assess conditions here.

"We've spoken about what we need to do as a batting unit to get a good score and then we've got the bowling unit to defend. Every game is important in a World Cup, you can't just show up. Anything can happen. We're sticking to the same XI," he added.

India have already won a game at the same venue and would be looking to capitalize on that experience. Pakistan, on the other hand, began their campaign with a loss against the USA and would be desperate for a win tonight.
