The 34-year-old India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli gave an epic reaction as the Pakistan National Cricket Team burned a review during the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four clash at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Monday, September 11.

Pakistan invited India to bat first after winning the toss. India openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill made the most of the opportunity and provided their side with a terrific start. They stitched together 121 runs and registered good half-centuries.

After the wicket of openers, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli played well, before the match had to be called off and pushed to the reserve day due to rain.

On the reserve day, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul bettered the performance of openers and hit sensational tons while adding 233 runs. India posted a mammoth total of 356/2 on the board, thanks to the remarkable performance from the top 4 batters.

Virat Kohli scored sensational 122 runs off 94 balls, with 9 fours and 3 sixes. Pakistan tried to end his innings early and opted to go for a review during the 28th over of the innings when Kohli was batting at 19.

After wasting a review in the 4th over, Pakistan burned the next one in the 28th over. On the last delivery of the over, Naseem delivered a ball on the leg stump and it looked like the ball brushed Kohli’s pad on the way to Mohammad Rizwan, who dived to his left, collected it, and went for an appeal.

After on-field umpire Chris Gaffaney didn’t raise his finger, Pakistan went for a caught behind review as there was some noise. There was no connection between the ball and bat as the UltraEdge showed a spike as the ball passed the thigh pad.

After the replays were shown on the big screen, Virat Kohli gave an epic reaction as he couldn’t stop laughing while looking at Pakistan wasting a review.
