India and Pakistan are all set to clash with each other in the Asia Cup 2023 on 2nd September in Kandy. Both the teams had a practice session under lights in Pallekele Stadium and the center of attraction was none other than Virat Kohli. 

Apart from putting in the hard yards in the nets, Virat Kohli was seen sharing a light moment with Pakistan players. The right-hander spent quite a little time with Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and Haris Rauf. 

In a video that has gone viral on the internet, Virat Kohli can be first seen having a long chat with Shadab Khan near the dressing room stairs before sharing a laugh with the leg-spinner. Amid their talk, pacer Shaheen Afridi along with Haris Rauf and Mohammad Rizwan joined too. They all were seen sharing laughter.

Ahead of sharing a chat with the Pakistani players, Virat Kohli was even seen hugging Haris Rauf on the ground. The duo also chatted for a while. Their battle in the upcoming match will be one of the most exciting contests to watch. 

IND vs PAK: They’ve Got Some Really Impactful Bowlers – Virat Kohli Feels Bowling Is Pakistan’s Strength 

Virat Kohli recently talked about the battle against Pakistan. He said that the strength of their arch-rivals lies in their bowling. Therefore he needs to be at his best to outshine them. He told Star Sports: 

“I feel bowling is their strength. And they’ve got some really impactful bowlers that can change the course of the game anytime based on their skill set. So, you have to be at your absolute best to face them. 

“I only try to understand how I can better my game. Every day, every practice session, every year, every season, this is what has helped me play this well for so long and to perform for my team,” he concluded. 

Virat Kohli no doubt will be a crucial player for the Indian team going into the match against Pakistan. The batter has always been the one who has stood tall for his side in the game against the arch-rivals. The last time he played against the Men in Green, he single-handedly won the game for his team with his unbeaten 82-run knock.
