IND vs SA: Watch: Rassie Van Der Dussen Takes Stunner To Dismiss KL Rahul

Rassie van der Dussen produced a magnificent effort on the field during the ongoing 37th match of the ICC World Cup 2023 against India. The match between the two best teams of the tournament is taking place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. 

Rassie van der Dussen’s effort surely saved crucial runs for his team as KL Rahul has been batting magnificently well in the tournament. It happened during the first ball of the 43rd one when Marco Jansen bowled a back-of-a-length delivery on off stump. 

KL Rahul tried to pick it up and hit it over square leg. Rassie van der Dussen moved across to his right. The ball was dying in front of him but he kept his eyes on the ball and dived in front to take a terrific catch.

KL Rahul couldn’t get going as he managed just 8 runs off 17 balls. After his wicket, Virat Kohli slammed a magnificent ton and equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most centuries in the ODIs. He slammed his second ton of the tournament and ended with unbeaten 101 runs. 

Suryakumar Yadav (22) and Ravindra Jadeja (29*) played vital cameos in the end that powered India to a total of 326 runs on the board. For South Africa, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, and Kagiso Rabad bagged one wicket each.
