Indian batter Virat Kohli has joined the India team ahead of the Test series against South Africa. The batter was part of the intense training session as he got into the groove for the Boxing Day Test, slated to take place from 26th December. 

Virat Kohli missed India’s intra-squad game as there were reports that he went on a London trip. However, now he is back and is up and running. The right-hander joined his teammates and underwent training sessions. 

Virat Kohli looked in great touch as he played some staggering strokes and even stepped up to the pacers, which reflected his confidence. The batter was focused on leaving the ball outside off, which has often troubled him. With the way he was batting, it won’t be a surprise if he ends up getting big scores in the series.

Virat Kohli will hold the key for India in the upcoming series against South Africa. The batter has a great record in these conditions. If India have to fancy their chances of winning their first-ever series, the senior batter needs to step up and play a crucial role for the team.
