IND vs SA: Watch - Virat Kohli's Hilarious Facial Expression To Mukesh Kumar's Delivery Goes Viral

Indian batter Virat Kohli was at his hilarious best during the Day 1 of the ongoing second Test against South Africa. The match between the two teams is taking place at Newlands Park in Cape Town. 

Virat Kohli entertained the crowd full-on with his antics during Day 1. The batter kept the intensity high on the field as his team bowlers were all over the South African batters. The Proteas look clueless against the India pacers, who took 13 wickets. 

Apart from keeping the intensity high, Virat Kohli was also at his hilarious best. One of the moments came during the fag end of Day 1 when Mukesh Kumar nearly got South Africa batter Tristan Stubbs caught behind. 

Mukesh Kumar bowled a delivery on a good length outside off. Tristan Stubbs got forward to defend but the ball stayed low and went under his bat. Seeing the ball low, Virat Kohli couldn’t believe it as he made a hilarious face and that caught the attention of many. 

In the video that has gone viral on the internet, Virat Kohli was seen removing his shades and then making a funny face. His reaction even left commentators in splits. The batter himself had a good laugh about it when his reaction was shown on the big screen.

Virat Kohli’s reaction came due to the invariable bounce on the pitch. For most of the time, the ball had a lot of bounce and a delivery staying totally low came as a surprise to many. Bowlers of both sides enjoyed bowling on Day 1. 

India were asked to bowl first and they had a sensational outing in the first innings. They bundled out South Africa for just 55 runs. Mohammed Siraj picked 6 wickets whereas Jasprit Bumrah and Mukesh Kumar picked two wickets each as well. 

South Africa bowlers too had a great outing with the ball as they bundled out India for just 153 runs, conceding a lead of 98 runs. Kagiso Rabada, Nandre Burger, and Lungi Ngidi picked three wickets with the ball to dismantle the Indian bowling lineup. 

IND vs SA: Virat Kohli scores crucial 46 runs with the bat 

Virat Kohli continued his golden touch with the bat and had another decent outing. He scored 46 runs and fell 4 runs short of his well-deserved half-century. His innings came at a vital time for the team and helped them to take the handy lead in the first innings.

Virat Kohli got out as he tried to score runs because of the wickets falling at the other end. After his wicket, India got all out in no time. But they had another sensational outing with the ball in the second innings. Pacers yet again oozed their class and put South Africa under pressure. 

Mukesh Kumar picked two wickets whereas Jasprit Bumrah bagged on the scalp. At stumps on Day 1, South Africa were 62/3 and are still 36 runs behind Indian total. The Rohit Sharma-led side would be hoping to pick wickets early on Day 2 and then finish the match as soon as possible. The series currently stands 1-0 in favor of the hosts.
