It does not matter whether Virat Kohli has a bat in his hand or not, the India superstar makes sure to entertain the fans whenever he steps out on the field. One of the best batsmen of his generation, Virat Kohli has been a fan favorite not only because of his unparalleled batting exploits but also his animated and humorous nature.
On Friday, he was not a part of India’s playing eleven for the Super 4 game against Bangladesh at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. With a place in the final already booked, India decided to make as many as five changes to the playing eleven that played against Sri Lanka earlier this week.
Along with Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Kuldeep Yadav were rested too. They were replaced by Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Mohammed Shami, Shardul Thakur, and Prasidh Krishna. Not playing the game, however, did not stop Virat Kohli from entertaining the fans.
A clip of Virat Kohli running in a hilarious manner while carrying drinks for his teammates went viral on social media in no time. And another clip of a different match, presumably the one against Sri Lanka, is also going viral. The clip shows Virat Kohli reacting in a hilarious manner after being caught off guard by a groundsman The former India skipper was busy talking to his teammates sitting in the dugout when the groundsman surprised him by blowing the horn.

India eye Asia Cup title:
India’s decision to rest five key players against Bangladesh backfired as they lost the game by 6 runs. Chasing 266, the Men in Blue were all out for 259 despite a fine century from Shubman Gill. India will now be looking to bounce back when they take on Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup 2023 on Sunday (September 17).
India have already defeated Sri Lanka once in the competition and will be fancying their chances again as they eye a record-extending eighth Asia Cup title. Virat Kohli and other key players are set to return to the playing eleven for the final. After the Asia Cup final, India will welcome Australia for a three-match ODI series before participating in the all-important ICC World Cup 2023.
