Where We Play It Is Not Easy To Bat – Ishan Kishan

Speaking after Day five of the second Test match, which was washed out, Ishan Kishan said that it’s not easy to bat with an aggressive approach for India as the surfaces provide turn and bounce.

“It is not possible that you can play that fast everyday, it depends upon situation also. England are batting quick but you need to see on what kind of pitches they are playing, mostly where we play it is not easy to bat because there is a turn and bounce,” Kishan told reporters.

We Didn’t Bat For Long – Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan revealed that he was promoted in the batting order to take on the left-arm spinner in the opposition bowling attack. He said that he wanted to make the most of the opportunities.

“I think as a youngster, who was playing only his second Test, I wanted to cash in all those opportunities. In the second innings when I was sent to bat up the order my plan was to take on left-arm spinner. I batted with positive intent.
