Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is currently on a break from international cricket after winning the Test series against West Indies. The Indian skipper will come back to lead the team in the Asia Cup starting from August 30.

The Indian skipper was in good form in the series scoring 240 runs in two matches at an average of 80.00. He scored his 10th Test ton in the process and played his part in India’s Test series win. 

Meanwhile, renowned trading and investment firm StockGro, revealed Rohit’s net worth which amounts to a whopping 214 crores generated from investments and endorsements. 

In a tweet, the investment company broke down Rohit’s earnings. Currently in the game of cricket overall, Rohit Sharma is earning massively. He earns 16 crores per year from the IPL every season with Mumbai Indians. To add to that, the Indian skipper earns 7 crore as per BCCI’s Grade A salary category. He earns 6 lakhs per match in ODIs, three lakhs per match in T20Is, and 15 lakhs per Test match.

Breakdown Of Rohit Sharma’s Earnings

Besides this, Rohit Sharma has invested in two major companies named Rapidobotics (a Robotics automation solution) and Vieroots Wellness Solutions (a Healthcare company). He has also invested almost 36 crores in real estate. He has a 4BHK apartment in Worli, Mumbai worth Rs 30 crore, and has sold his luxurious house in Lonavla for almost six crores. 

Rohit Sharma has brand endorsements worth Rs 5 crore. He is the brand ambassador for many brands like Jio Cinema, Dream 11, Ceat Tyres, Videocon DTH, and Goibibo amongst others. 

The Indian skipper also has luxury cars worth rupees 6-7 crores. The brands include Lamborghini, Marcedes Benz, Toyota, and Suzuki amongst others. The Indian skipper also has a few investments in Digital art. 

Rohit will lead Team India later this year in the ICC World Cup at home. Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh said that Rohit needs to be given a good team to win the World Cup at home. 

“Rohit Sharma is a good captain, but you will have to give a good team to him. MS Dhoni was a good captain too, but he had a good team with experienced players,” Yuvraj told senior sports journalist Indranil Basu.
