IND vs WI: Shai Hope Gives A Deadly Warning To Team India After Drawing The ODI Series Level

West Indies skipper Shai Hope said that he was very happy after his team made a comeback in IND vs WI ODI series. West Indies defeated India by 6 wickets in 2nd ODI encounter in Barbados to level the three-match series 1-0.
After losing the opening encounter, West Indies arrived with a wonderful show in the 2nd ODI. Opting to bowl first, they crushed India to a low total of 181-10 in 1st innings. Later, Shai Hope drove his team to victory by 6 wickets with his stupendous unbeaten half-century.
We Talked About Comeback And We Have Done It: Shai Hope
While speaking during the post-match presentation, West Indies captain Shai Hope said he was very satisfied after winning the match. He also added that West Indies wanted to make a comeback in the 2nd ODI and they have done it.
“Very satisfied to be honest, like I said in the previous game we want to come back and level the series and we have done it. We gotta win the next game to win the series. The guys are gonna come hard again. We keep speaking about attitude, whenever we are on the field we need to show it,” said Hope.
Whenever I Contribute To The Team, I Feel Happy: Shai Hope
Shai Hope scored unbeaten 63 runs in the match to help his team chase down the target. He also won the Player of the Match award. Speaking about his performance, the right-handed batsman said that he feels happy whenever he contributes to the team.
“Whenever I contribute to the team, I feel happy. I think when things are difficult to score on this surface, we need to score hard. We need to make the fielders in the deep run and collect the runs.
We need to keep repeating it more and more, to start with the new ball it was tough, the bowlers did their job and the batters did the job in the end. We need to replicate our plans and show some good attitude,” the wicketkeeper batsman further said.

Shai Hope also scored the most 43 runs in IND vs WI 1st ODI, which West Indies lost by 5 wickets. However, the home team made a strong comeback in the three-match series after winning the 2nd ODI by 6 wickets.
India and West Indies will now wrestle in the 3rd ODI. The encounter takes place on August 1 (Tuesday). Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad is the venue of the series-deciding clash.
