On the other hand, Rohit Sharma has scored more than 17000 runs in international cricket. The India captain has scored 44 centuries and 93 half-centuries in international cricket so far.

And recently West Indies allrounder Kyle Mayers was asked to pick his most precious wicket between Kohli and Rohit. In reply, Mayers snubbed Rohit Sharma and stated that he would like to have Virat Kohli’s wicket in his kitty.

The hard-hitting allrounder said that any bowler in the world would like to dismiss the former India skipper and hailed him as one of the best players across the three formats.

In reply, Kyle Mayers said: “Virat Kohli. Any bowler would like to get out Kohli, he’s one of the best players across formats.”

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma recently returned from the West Indies after participating in the Test and the ODI series. The senior batsmen are not playing in the ongoing T20I series between the two teams. Both of them impressed with their batting in the Test series. While Rohit scored one century and two fifties in three innings, Kohli scored a fifty and a century in the two-Test innings he batted in.

They are set to return to action next month when India begins their Asia Cup campaign. While the continental championship will get underway on August 30, India will start their campaign on September 2 against arch-rivals Pakistan.
