IND vs WI: Watch: Generally, I Take Such Catches..: Ravindra Jadeja's Hilarious Remark On Virat Kohli's Stunning Catch

Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja, on Thursday (July 27), starred with the ball as India thrashed West Indies by five wickets to take the lead in the three-match ODI series.

The left-arm spinners combined brilliantly to run through West Indies’ lineup as India bowled out the hosts for just 114 runs in 23 overs. Kuldeep picked up four wickets for just six runs while Ravindra Jadeja picked up three wickets for 37 runs in six overs.

Chasing 115, India crossed the finishing line in 22.5 overs. The visitors did lose five wickets but managed to chase down the total without facing any challenges. Opener Ishan Kishan was the best performer with the bat for India, scoring 52 runs off 46 balls. Ravindra Jadeja contributed with the bat too as he scored an unbeaten 16 runs.

After the game, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja sat down together to have a chat. During the chat, the duo also spoke about Virat Kohli’s stunning catch to dismiss Romario Shepherd. The former India skipper displayed his brilliant athleticism and sharp reflexes once again to take the catch off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling.

And the star allrounder had a funny reaction to the catch. Known for his brilliant fielding, Ravindra Jadeja stated that he was happy to see someone else take a good catch on his bowling as usually he finds himself on the other end.

“Virat Kohli took a fabulous catch. It was low and Kohli held it wonderfully. Generally, I take such catches on other’s bowling, but it felt good that somebody took it on my bowling,” said Ravindra Jadeja.

“On wickets like these, fielders need to support the bowlers and that in turn helps to boost the confidence of players, because you need to convert those half chances,” he added.
