The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to post a video on their official handle in which players discussed the words and ideas that they connect with the USA.

Hardik Pandya associated the word ‘dream’ with the USA, a place that numerous individuals across the globe aspire to reach in their career pursuits.

“US? I think a lot of people’s dream,” said Pandya.

When queried about his initial thoughts upon hearing the name USA, Axar Patel responded, “Gujarati.”

Expressing his perspective, the young batter Yashasvi Jaiswal remarked, “I believe it’s the lifestyle…”

Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal linked the USA to the action-adventure video game series, Grand Theft Auto (GTA), which features numerous editions set in fictional cities throughout the nation.

“GTA. I play GTA so that is what comes into my mind,” Chahal said.

Upon hearing the term “USA,” spinner Kuldeep Yadav’s thoughts turn to Lionel Messi. Recently, Messi has made a move to the Inter Miami team in Major League Soccer, establishing his footprint in the realm of American football.

“Wherever he will go, his fans will follow. I am one of them, a lot of players in the team are his fans,” Kuldeep said.

The word “USA” triggers thoughts of “Ice cream and my favourite, cheesecake,” in the mind of star batter Suryakumar Yadav. With a touch of humour, Surya remarked, “Cannot eat it now though.”

When he hears the word ‘USA,’ batter Shubman Gill recalls his family. Elaborating, he said, “I am a Punjabi, a lot of my relatives are here. So this is the first thing that comes into my mind.”

Avesh Khan also reflected on his victory in securing his first Man of the Match award in the USA last year for his bowling performance of 2/17 on February 17 against the West Indies at the same venue. “My first MOTM was here last year on this ground,” he said.
