Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has revealed the bond that players share with Mukesh Kumar in the Indian team. Mohammed Siraj said whenever they go out, they keep pulling Mukesh Kumar’s legs.
Mukesh Kumar is the latest addition to the Indian team. The right-arm pacer made his international debut in ongoing India vs West Indies 2nd Test. The 29-year-old pacer also grabbed 2 scalps in the match.

While speaking in a BCCI video, Mohammed Siraj spoke about the hilarious bond that Indian pacers have inside the team. Siraj said that whenever they go out, they keep pulling Mukesh Kumar’s legs.
“Whenever we go out, we just keep pulling his [ Mukesh Kumar] legs, ‘what’s happening back home?’ etc. Fast bowlers, we always have a bonding. We share and take each other along”, Mohammed Siraj said.
Heaping praises on the Bengal domestic pacer, Siraj said that the former has performed well in Ranji Trophy on difficult wickets and it’s an achievement for him to perform on a flat pitch in Trinidad.
“Mukesh has been around with us. He’s not new to this. He has performed in Ranji Trophy on some really difficult wickets. It’s not easy to take wickets in Ranji, there are some wickets even flatter than this. It’s an achievement to perform there”, Siraj said.

The debutant picked two crucial wickets in the match. He dismissed Kirk McKenzie with an edge to wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan. Later, he also got in-form Alick Athanaze with an LBW. Mohammed Siraj grabbed the limelight in the match, hunting down a five-wicket haul.
Meanwhile, India has gained complete control in India vs West Indies 2nd Test. West Indies will chase a 365-run target on Day 5. They have 8 wickets in hands. Currently, they rail at 76-2 on the scoreboard.
However, rain affected the match on Day 4 and the final day can also witness rain. India leads the series 1-0 and will win the series even if the 2nd Test ends in a draw. India won the 1st Test by an innings and 141 runs.
