The ongoing third One-day International International between India and Sri Lanka had to be halted in the midst of the Indian innings thanks to persistent rain in Colombo.
The rain arrived during the 23rd over of the Indian innings and such was its intensity that the on-field umpires had to take the players off the field.
The rain did relent after a while and what we saw on the screen was pure gold as the stand-in Indian coach Rahul Dravid was seen engaged in a conversation with Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka.
The moment by captured and posted by several Twitter users.
Rahul Dravid must be telling Shanaka, not to panic in tensed situation . Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka strike back after the rain delay as India collapse
Meanwhile, the Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lankan came out all guns blazing after the game resumed in what is now a 47-over-a-side fixture.
On a surface that is gripping substantially, left-arm orthodox Jayawickrama knocked over Manish Pandey and a dangerous-looking Hardik Pandya within a space of few overs.
Dhananjaya de Silva then proceeded to land a body blow on the Indians as he trapped a well-set Suryakumar Yadav plumb in front of the wicket.
De Silva then backed it up with wickets of the debutant duo of Nitish Rana and Krishnappa Goutham within a space of three balls in his next over to leave India reeling at 8/195 after 33 overs as Sri Lanka assumed driver seat in the encounter.
Since then Navdeep Saini and Rahul Chahar have held the fort for Team India, and at the time of writing, the visitors had moved on to 8/221 in the 41st over.
