UAE were off to a stable start with their openers Alishan Sharafu and Muhammad Waseem adding 26 runs for the opening wicket. However, once the stand was broken, the floodgates opened and the UAE were bowled out for just 57 runs.
They were on 47/2 at one stage before losing eight wickets for just 10 runs. Sharafu (22) and Waseem (19) were the only UAE batters to reach double digits, while no other player could score more than 3.
Kuldeep Yadav wreaks havoc
For the visitors, left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets for just 7 runs in 2.1 overs. Allrounder Shivam Dube impressed with the ball as well, taking 3 wickets for just 4 runs in 2 overs.

The opener hit two more sixes and a four to score 30 runs before being dismissed by Junaid Siddique with 10 runs needed. Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav then took the team over the line.
India creates a record
The Men in Blue not only won the match but also achieved an incredible milestone thanks to the fireworks from their openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill. With both the openers coming out all guns blazing, Gambhir's side broke their own record for the fastest chase in T20Is.
The previous record for India was 6.3 overs against Scotland. In the 2021 T20 World Cup, India chased down 86 runs against Scotland in just 6.3 overs.

The Men in Blue's next game in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 is against Pakistan. The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday (September 14). A win in that game will all but confirm India's spot in the Super 4s.
