India Playing XI vs South Africa- 4th T20I, South Africa Tour of India 2025:

Openers: Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill

India would be satisfied with the way they performed with bat, ball, and in the field in the third T20I and came back strongly after a disappointing loss in the second game of the five-match T20I series against South Africa.

The Men in Blue would look to back this performance with a similar one in the fourth T20I scheduled to take place in Lucknow.

Suryakumar Yadav-led side is expected to go into the upcoming match with an unchanged playing XI and would want to address two major concerns in the batting department, which are the form of the captain and the vice-captain.

Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill have struggled to get going in the three matches that the two have played so far in this series, and would want to get runs under their belt in the next game.

Having said that, Shubman's opening partner Abhishek got back among runs in the previous match and would want to carry the form in the fourth game.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma (wk)

The opening pair of Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma will be followed by a middle order that finished the game off for India and helped the team take a 2-1 lead in the series.

The likes of Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, and Shivam Dube would be entrusted to have a good outing in the next game as well.

Above-mentioned names will enjoy batting at the Ekana Cricket Stadium as the pitch at that venue is expected to be good for batting, with the ball coming nicely on the bat, thereby assisting the batters to play their shots by trusting the bounce.

However, the middle-order batters would hope for the openers to lay a platform for them to capitalize as they did in the previous match while chasing a target of 118 runs.

Bowlers: Harshit Rana, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakaravarthy, Arshdeep Singh

As far as India's bowling attack is concerned, it won't be a bad decision if the Men in Blue decide to field the same bowling attack that featured in the previous game.

The reason being the performance it came up wth by making full use of the helpful conditions that were on offer in Dharamsala.

If the case remains so, the fast bowling department of India will be handled by Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, Hardik Pandya, and Shivam Dube.

If we talk about the spin bowling department of the home team, it will be taken care of by Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy.

The presence of six bowling options in the team gives the captain, Suryakumar Yadav, a chance to rotate them according to the situation of the game.
