Legendary India allrounder Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh has often criticized MS Dhoni in the past for ruining his son's career. Recently in a video, Yograj claimed that Chennai Super Kings lost IPL 2024 due to MS Dhoni's bad karma and called him a jealous person.

This is not the first time when Yograj has taken a dig at the legendary India captain. Previously, he had been highly critical of Dhoni after India lost the 2019 ODI World Cup semi-final to New Zealand. At that time, Yograj alleged that Dhoni didn't want any other captain to win the World Cup, and that's why he didn't try to score runs quickly.

'Whatever you sow, so shall you reap' - Yograj Singh on why CSK lost IPL 2024

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Yograj Singh reasoned why CSK didn't win IPL 2024. He even claimed Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir to have said it. Yograj called Dhoni a jealous person while also congratulating his son for being the ICC ambassador for the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.

"The whole world is saying it. Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma are also saying it. CSK lost IPL 2024. Why did they lose? It's simple—whatever you sow, so shall you reap," Yograj said.

"Yuvraj Singh is the ICC Ambassador, hats off to him! And this jealous Dhoni, where is he? He didn't even shake hands with Yuvraj, and that is the reason why CSK failed this year," he added.

Talking about India's chances in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, Yograj Singh stated that since MS Dhoni is not in the team, India is likely to win.

"As an Indian, I want India to win. India should win the World Cup now that MS Dhoni is not there," the former India player mentioned.

India remain unbeaten, enter the semi-finals in style

Meanwhile, India have been impressive so far in the T20 World Cup 2024. The Men in Blue are yet to lose a game so far and are the only unbeaten team in the tournament alongside South Africa.

India started the tournament with a comfortable win over Ireland. They had a close match against Pakistan but prevailed due to their spectacular bowling effort.

The Men in Blue then overcame a spirited USA challenge to confirm a spot in the Super 8 stage. India raised the game in the Super 8 as they thrashed Afghanistan and Bangladesh comfortably in the first two games.

In their last Super 8 match, India dismissed Australia's challenge by defeating them comfortably by 24 runs. On a good batting pitch, Indian bowlers were tested by Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, and Glenn Maxwell but the bowlers kept their composure and knocked Australia out.

Head scored 76 off 43 balls but found very little support from other Aussie batters. Rohit Sharma was adjudged Player of the Match for his terrific 92 off 41 balls, which included 7 fours and 8 sixes.

Is Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja's form a concern?

India seems to have most bases covered till now. The only concern for them could be the form of Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja.

Both are key members of India's white-ball set-up and India will want its best players to produce top-level cricket in the semi-final and the final.

They have now reached a stage where they cannot afford any more slip-ups. India will face England in the second semi-final on June 27 at Providence Stadium, Guyana.
