India T20 squad for next Asia Cup announced; RCB player made captain

After winning the Men's Asia Cup 2025, the Indian team for the Men's Rising Star Asia Cup has been announced, which will mark RCB batter as their captain. Youngest Indian international, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, has been drafted for the Asia Cup.
India were the champions of the main format of the Asia Cup 2025, with the Suryakumar Yadav-led side winning the title after defeating archrivals Pakistan in the final. This marked India's 9th title in the Asia Cup. They have now announced the squad for the Rising Star Asia Cup.
The Indian team, despite having won the Asia Cup 2025, still awaits their trophy, as it has been locked up in the ACC headquarters.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is named in India's Rising Star Asia Cup team
Jitesh Sharma has been named the skipper of India's Rising Star Asia Cup squad, which has been announced for the Rising Star Asia Cup that will be held from the 14th to the 25th of November.
Young and dynamic batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been named in the squad alongside several known names. Priyansh Arya, Abhishek Porel, and Nehal Wadhera are among other convincing performers from the IPL who have been drafted into the side.

India has named two players from the Delhi Capitals who have been in much higher demand, as the Rajasthan Royals have also urged for the addition of these players in the Delhi Capitals trade deal for Sanju Samson.
Abhishek Porel, the left-handed wicket-keeper batter, has been kept in the squad as the replacement for the skipper in the side. Moreover, Sameer Rizvi, the other such Capitals batter, has also been named as a standby player in the side.

India A's schedule for the Asia Cup Rising Stars has been announced
Team India's squad for the Rising Stars Asia Cup has been announced alongside the schedule for the game. The Asian Cricket Council will be hosting the tournament, which will be held in Qatar. The tournament spans from the 14th to the 23rd of November 2025 and will be held at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha.
India A, much like the Asia Cup 2025, will feature the likes of Oman, UAE and Pakistan A in Group B of the Rising Stars Asia Cup. India will play their three Group stage games from the 14th to the 18th of November, before the knockouts begin on the 21st of November.
