India to face Pakistan on 6th July as schedule for World Championship of Legends gets revealed

The much-anticipated schedule of the World Championship of Legends is out. The tournament will kick start on 3rd July at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in London. The final of the tournament will be played on 13th July with the semi-finals slated to take place on 12th July.

The World Championship of Legends will begin with a high-octane clash between India and England. The opening day of the tournament will see a doubleheader as Australia will also be taking on Pakistan on the same day. After that, the action turns towards the second game.

Australia will be taking on South Africa in the first game whereas on the sidelines India will be facing West Indies. Saturday (6th July) will see the highly anticipated clashes as arch-rivals will be taking on each other in both the games of the World Championship of Legends.

The first will see Australia taking on England whereas India will be battling Pakistan in the second match of the day. South Africa and West Indies will be up against each other on Sunday (7th July) whereas England will be facing Pakistan in the second game.

Monday (8th July) will be host to just one game as India will be taking on Australia at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in London. It’ll be time for another doubleheader on 9th July. West Indies vs England will be the first match of the day while South Africa vs Pakistan will be up against each other in the second game.

The last league games will be played on Wednesday (10th July). West Indies will be crossing swords with Australia and India will be up against South Africa. There will be no game on 11th July before the semi-finals will get underway on 12th July. The final is slated to take place on 14th July.

The league will see some big names featuring in it. The likes of Yuvraj Singh, Shahid Afridi, and Kevin Pietersen along with former stars from. India, Pakistan, Australia, West Indies, and South Africa are expected to play in the league, which is approved by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Harshit Tomar, Director of Zabawa Entertainment, while talking about the league recently stated: “The current announcement strengthens WCL’s status as a top-tier platform for past cricketing champions, creating new opportunities for the league’s development and global significance.”
