India Women's set to host West Indies, Ireland as BCCI announces blockbuster schedule for ODI, T20I series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India Women's National Cricket Team's schedule for the upcoming home season. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will be hosting the West Indies Women's National Cricket Team and the Ireland Women's National Cricket Team in the white-ball series.
West Indies Women's National Cricket Team will be arriving in India first. The two teams will be locking horns with each other in the three-match T20I series, and after that, it will be time for the three-match ODI series across two different venues.
West Indies series will begin on 15th December
The first T20I between The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side and West Indies Women's Cricket Team will be played on 15th December, followed by a second game to be played on 17th December. The final match is slated to take place on 19th December. All the games will be played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
The ODI series between India and West Indies will begin on 22nd December. The last two games are scheduled to be played on 24th December and 27th December respectively. The 50-over games between the two heavyweights will be played in Baroda.
Ireland series will begin from 10th January
Following the West Indies series, the Ireland Women's National Cricket Team will be touring. They will be crossing swords with each other in the three-match ODI series. The series, along with the West Indies ODIs, will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
The first ODI between the hosts Women's National Cricket Team and the Ireland Women's National Cricket Team will be played on 10th January. The last two matches of the series are set to be played on the 12th and 15th of January, respectively. All the three games will be played in Rajkot.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will be heading into the white-ball series against West Indies as well as Ireland on high. They recently defeated the New Zealand Women's National Cricket Team in the three-match ODI series at home by 2-1 and would be hoping to carry on the same form in the upcoming two series.
