On Thursday, the BCCI axed Virat Kohli as the ODI skipper. The decision took everyone by surprise as Virat had the intention of leading the side till the 2023 World Cup. However, with BCCI not in favour of having two captains in white-ball formats, they decided to hand the captaincy duties to Rohit Sharma.
