India and Pakistan's unwanted off-field rivalry has tensed the current scenario in international cricket. There has been immense buzz over the two teams not willing to have a face-off in any events shortly.
India and Pakistan's political ambush flared up when a treacherous terror attack took place in the Pahalgam valley, and India retaliated with a military operation named 'Operation Sindoor' launched against the militant groups staged in Pakistan.
In a recent report, there have been claims made that BCCI will also not participate in the ACC Annual General Meeting, which will be held in Dhaka under the supervision of PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi. The BCCI has likely been assured by two more full member nations Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, of support to boycott the event.
Mohammed Siraj's stance on India vs Pakistan encounters
Amid several tensions brewing between the Indian and Pakistani cricket boards and the two nations as well, the recent game between the two teams in the WCL was cancelled after public outrage, and some players were also willing to opt out of the game.
India is currently playing a 5-match Test series in England. Mohammed Siraj, interviewed before the onset of the fourth Test at Manchester, was asked by a British journalist what his stand is on playing against Pakistan in future events.
To this, Siraj smiled and said, as quoted from a video by the Times of India, "I don't know, man, what to say on this."
This was a clear portrayal of no message being passed onto the players by the BCCI or the Indian government as of yet, and Siraj's attitude seemed to reflect on the fact that he stands by the team's decision with not much personal opinion.

India Legends' cancelled match against Pakistan in WCL
The India vs Pakistan Legends match was cancelled at the World Championship of Legends on the 20th of July, Sunday. The match was also scheduled to be played in England, at the venue of Birmingham.
However, several Indian players, reportedly skipper Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and Irfan and Yusuf Pathan, had all decided to opt out of the game if the authorities go on with the scheduled match against Pakistan.
However, the WCL authorities cancelled the match and instead asked for a public apology, seeking forgiveness for any undesired, uncomfortable situation caused to the Indian Legends.

Siraj is likely to pair alongside the new pacer in Manchester
Mohammed Siraj has been India's most dependable pacer. Though Bumrah remains India's best pacer, Siraj has been the main man for India to feature in every game, as he is known for his remarkable fitness and dedication to the game.
Siraj is not worried about workload issues, as he bowls the most number of overs in any match for the Men in Blue Caps. Now going into Manchester, he might form the Indian bowling pair with Jasprit Bumrah and a newcomer, Anshul Kamboj.
Siraj has been the only constant in every bowling trio India has tried in the England series. Kamboj can, however, only be picked to make his debut if Akash Deep cannot resolve his groin issues and Prasidh Kirshna's economy is not looked over.
