India National Cricket Team manager R Devraj has left the team for home after a mishap happened in his family. As per the reports in Cricbuzz, it is learned that Devraj's mother passed away on Sunday, and he immediately left to attend to a family bereavement just ahead of the clash against New Zealand.
R Devraj, who is secretary of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), won't be returning to resume his managerial duties quickly. A call related to this will be taken based on the outcome of Tuesday's semifinal, where India will be playing either Australia or South Africa.

The development was confirmed by a member of the Indian National Cricket Team to Cricbuzz. Even the Hyderabad Cricket Association expressed their condolences, confirming the demise of Devraj's mother.
"With deep sorrow, we inform you that our Secretary Devraj's mother, Kamaleshwari Garu, has passed away. May her soul rest in peace. Our heartfelt condolences to Devraj Garu and his family," the HCA said in a statement.
