After a series of miserable shows in Tests, Shubman Gill starred with the bat in the India vs England 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar took to X (Twitter) to congratulate Shubman Gill for his century. Sachin Tendulkar termed his knock ‘an innings full of skills’.

Shubman Gill has moved to the one-down spot in the IND vs ENG Test series after Yashasvi Jaiswal’s entry as an opener. While he struggled to score good knocks in IND vs ENG 1st Test, he arrived with a fabulous ton in the 2nd Test.

Moreover, Gill’s innings was a special one as India faced a mini-batting collapse in the 2nd innings. With a 225-run lead after 1st innings, India lost openers Rohit Sharma (13) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (17) cheaply. They later lost Shreyas Iyer (29) and Rajat Patidar (9) too. However, Gill’s knock uplifted Team India’s batting.

Jaiswal and Gill big positives for India

Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal’s double ton and Shubman Gill’s return to form are too big positives for Team India for IND vs ENG 2nd Test. Moreover, Jasprit Bumrah’s brilliance with the ball has entertained fans from the first game.
