International Cricket Council Announces BYJU'S As A Global Partner Until 2023

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday announced BYJU’S, India’s largest EdTech company as their global partner in a three-year agreement from 2021 to 2023. The three-year agreement will see BYJU’S partner all ICC events over the period, including the forthcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India, and the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.
BYJU’S has been working closely with the International Cricket Council to make a strong engagement with the cricket fans through the creation of innovative campaigns. BYJU’S being the global partner will now have extensive in-venue, broadcast, and digital rights across all ICC events. It was in August 2019, when BYJU’S managed to become the official jersey partners of the Indian cricket team and now have grown in heaps and bounds to become the global partner.

The International Cricket Council Chief Executive Manu Sawhney had told that he is excited to welcome Byju’s as global partners and added that he is looking forward to work with BYJU’S. He stressed the importance of resilience, perseverance, and conviction as crucial qualities in cricket and mentioned BYJU’S as an ardent supporter of cricket in India. He explained the idea behind the convergence of education and sports winning a lot of hearts from children.
“We are excited to have BYJU’S on board as one of our global partners and look forward to having a great innings together. Cricket is a sport where resilience, perseverance and conviction are crucial qualities and the partnership with BYJU’S will allow that to be fostered by a wider audience both young and old,” Manu Sawhney Chief Executive, ICC said.

We look forward to the successful convergence of education and sports and hope to reach the hearts and minds of millions of young cricketing enthusiasts through this partnership.”

BYJU’S founder and CEO Byju Raveendran, has told that he is excited to partner with The International Cricket Council (ICC) in world cricket and described the special place that cricket finds in the people’s hearts. He expressed his pride over representing the nation globally and hoped to inspire a lot more children.
