RCB will lock horns with Mumbai Indians on April 9, 2021, at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Royal Challengers Bangalore have added hard-hitter Glenn Maxwell into their squad during IPL 2021 auction. The team also bought New Zealand bowler Kyle Jamieson during the auction.

Batting first, RCB scored 201-3 in 20 overs with Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, and AB de Villiers hitting a half-century.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Pune Warriors India match in IPL 2012 observed one of the most memorable finishes. With Robin Uthappa’s 69, Pune Warriors were able to reach 182/6 batting first. After Chris Gayle hit 81 runs off 48 balls, RCB needed 21 runs off the final over. Ashish Nehra took the ball but could not stop Saurabh Tiwary and AB de Villiers from hitting big shots.
