The IPL 2021 Auction is scheduled to take place on February 18 in Chennai and here are three players who might end up as the costliest pick this year. Every franchise will be having their work cut out in picking up the right players in the auction and it will be interesting to see the strategy of the franchises with only a year to go before the mega auction in 2022. Daniel Sams and Harshal Patel who represented Delhi Capitals in the last season have been traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore while senior batsman Robin Uthappa has been traded from the Rajasthan Royals to Chennai Super Kings.

He hasn’t performed in IPL up to his expectations yet, but with the option that he can provide in two departments, he will be surely a player to go after for the franchises. Delhi Capitals might be keen to get Dube in the auction as he does meet their requirements of an all-rounder at six.
Nathan Coulter Nile
He is a handy batsman at eight providing an extra addition to the team. His wicket-taking ability might work in his favour and he could end up as a costly pick in the auction for IPL 2021.
Chris Morris
Morris can bowl the tough overs for any franchise and he is handy with the bat in the end overs. He is expected to attract a lot of bidders for him this time in IPL 2021 auction.
