All the franchises are getting ready for the IPL 2021 auction, which has been scheduled on 18th February in Chennai. Ahead of the new IPL season (IPL 2021), this is the best time for the IPL franchises to reset their squad by adding some present in-form players in the T20 format.
Recently, the IPL official website has come up with the details of the IPL 2021 auction. A total of 1114 cricketers had registered their names for the upcoming IPL auction. However, a total of 292 cricketers have been finalised for the forthcoming IPL auction.
Among these 292 shortlisted players, 164 cricketers are Indians, 125 cricketers are overseas stars and the other 3 players are from associate cricket nations. While the IPL has already released the base price of each players ahead of the forthcoming IPL auction, this base price range has been divided between INR 20 lacs and INR 2 crore. Franchises can buy this players by using their available money in the purse.
While the upcoming IPL auction will be organised on 18th February, it has been scheduled to begin at 03:00 PM (15:00) local time.
