Rohit Sharma Is A Very Positive Guy, Says Trent Boult
Trent Boult said that Rohit Sharma is a very positive guy and very approachable too.
“I have played one season under his captaincy. He has 5 IPL titles to his name and that probably comes with a lot of experience. The best thing is that he is very approachable, very easy to talk to and he backs all the players to execute their skills. Very positive guy, I really enjoy the opportunity to play under his captaincy,” Trent Boult said.
The 31-year-old cricketer also said that Mumbai Indians will look to score more runs in the upcoming match against Punjab Kings.
“I am sure the middle-order would not be too pleased with how things have gone so far. I know those guys are hungry and desperate to put in a good performance in our last game in Chennai tomorrow. Not the ideal start, we would have wanted to have few more runs on the board,” Trent Boult further said.
Mumbai Indians’ middle-order has largely failed to take the team to a big total while batting. In the 4 matches so far, Mumbai Indians failed to cross 160 runs on the scoreboard while batting first.
However, with the help of spectacular bowling, Mumbai Indians managed to defend their low total in two games. Mumbai Indians won against Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs and defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 13 runs.
Mumbai Indians have won 2 matches and lost 2 in IPL 2021 so far. They are placed on the 4th spot on the points table with 4 points. Mumbai Indians will face Punjab Kings in their next match. The match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 23.
