RCB are now the only team in the IPL 2021 who haven’t lost a game in this season yet as they have won both their first two matches of this season as they beat the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH).

RCB had very close games in both their first two games and they ultimately finished as the better team in those days. Captain Virat Kohli scored identical 33 runs off 29 balls in both those matches while AB de Villiers played the match-winning knock of 48 runs off 28 balls in the first match of this tournament. Currently, Glenn Maxwell is their leading run-scorer in this tournament who scored 39 and 59 runs respectively. But there was no other strong support in the first games of this season which was not a strong shine for the RCB.

RCB pacer Harshal Patel has hugely impressed in the first two games of this IPL 2021, especially in the death overs, as he is currently holding the Purple Cap after picking up 7 wickets in two games. Left-arm spinner Shahbaz Ahmed highly impressed in their last game where his three wickets in the second over changed the entire game against SRH and RCB ultimately won that match.

Pacer Mohammed Siraj is also really economical with the ball in hand.

Both teams are currently in the very early stage of the IPL 2021 where they still have to prove many things as the team. While KKR have the better head-to-head records against RCB (15-12), RCB won all their last three matches against this Kolkata franchise.
