IPL 2021, Match 23: CSK vs SRH – Match Preview
Chennai Super Kings (CSK)
Though Chennai Super Kings (CSK) started their IPL 2021 journey with a defeat against Delhi Capitals (DC), then they have won four successive matches in style. They are now one of the in-form and strong sides in this IPL season.
South African cricketer Faf du Plessis has taken major responsibility in the CSK batting while the young opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad has now started to perform. Suresh Raina has also played a couple of good knocks while Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni are searching for their batting forms.
England cricketer Moeen Ali has highly impressed as an all-rounder, and Ravindra Jadeja has also shown the same skills, who single-handedly destroyed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their last game.
Among the CSK bowlers, while Lungi Ngidi and Imran Tahir have impressed in their single matches of this season, Deepak Chahar has dominated in two games by claiming four-wicket hauls in each of those matches. Other bowlers have also played important supporting roles.

SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Captain David Warner has played some good knocks, but his image is stronger for SRH. England cricketer Jonny Bairstow is currently in great form as he has scored 211 runs in this IPL 2021. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has just returned to the team and it has made stronger the SRH batting side. However, their middle-order batting is still a big headache.
SRH bowlers are also struggling to pick up wickets regularly but Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan has maintained his discipline.
