SRH have won one IPL trophy in the 2016 edition while KKR have won two IPL trophies in the 2012 and 2014 editions. In the last season (IPL 2020), while SRH were the third-best team who reached Qualifier 2, KKR finished as the fifth-best team.

This SRH vs KKR match in the IPL 2021 will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk, Chennai) this Sunday (11th April) night. The official beginning schedule of this match has been set at 07:30 PM (19:30) local time.

MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk, Chennai) will host this IPL 2021 match between SRH and KKR. After Mumbai Indians scored 159/9 (20 overs), RCB chased down the 160 runs target on the final ball after losing eight wickets. In that game, the batsmen were struggling to hit the balls strongly while the bowlers also controlled the game cleverly.

Though this venue had the first innings average of around 144 in the IPL 2019, more previously, batsmen and spinners enjoyed this T20 venue.
