IPL 2021, Match 6: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (SRH vs RCB) – Pitch Report

MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk, Chennai) will host this IPL 2021 match between SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). This venue has already hosted three matches in the IPL 2021.

Out of these three matches, while the chasing team won the first game of this tournament by chasing the 160 runs target in the last-ball thriller, the first batting teams won the next two games both by 10 runs each as 187 runs and 152 runs respectively were defended successfully.

Bowlers are really enjoying this venue as we have already experienced two five-wicket hauls and one more four-wicket haul at this venue in the early IPL 2021. Due to the slow nature of the pitch, the batsmen are really struggling to connect the ball properly and that’s why the new batsmen are struggling in the death overs.

Observing the present condition of the pitches at this T20 venue, the captains will now like to choose bat first after winning the toss.
