Rajasthan Royals pacer Jaydev Unadkat feels that Rajasthan Royals have got a decent start in IPL 2021 and a couple more wins will get the right momentum for the team. Rajasthan Royals has been led by new skipper Sanju Samson in IPL 2021, who is leading an IPL team for the first time. Rajasthan Royals have won 2 matches out of 5 so far.

Rajasthan Royals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous match. The RR bowlers restricted Kolkata Knight Riders to just 133-9 in the first innings. Later, Rajasthan Royals’ batsmen chased down the target with ease, winning the match by 6 wickets.

Jaydev Unadkat has done a decent job for the team so far, picking 4 wickets in 3 games at an economy of 6.66. Unadkat had a great start in IPL 2021 after grabbing 3 wickets in his opening game against Delhi Capitals in the winning cause. He also won the player of the match award in that match.

Decent Start To The Tournament For Us: Jaydev Unadkat

In an official press release of Rajasthan Royals, Jaydev Unadkat stated that he has got a good start in the season.

“Yes, I feel I’ve had a good start. I’ve had clarity of mind and clarity of plans this season, something that has worked for me so far. It is only a couple of games for me and is still early days, something I’m looking to build on as we move forward,” said Jaydev Unadkat.

The left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat also said that his team had a decent start so far and they will get the momentum with a couple of more wins.

“It’s been a decent start to the tournament for us. The first game was a narrow defeat, the second game was a good team display and a wonderful win for us.

“We did sort of lose our way for a couple of games in between but now that we are back to winning ways, we’d like to continue this and build on this run.

“I personally feel that a couple more wins on the trot and we can get the right momentum going for us. We haven’t had that sort of a run yet but I feel it’s the right time for us to get back that momentum,” Jaydev Unadkat added.

After winning 2 matches and losing 3, Rajasthan Royals hold the 7th spot in IPL 2021 points table. The team will need to pull up their socks in upcoming matches to better their position in the points table. Rajasthan Royals will lock horns with Mumbai Indians in their next match. The match will take place on April 29 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
