IPL 2021: Ravindra Jadeja Has Grown As A Batsman; He Was The Game Changer In CSK Vs RCB Match, Says Sanjay Bangar

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s batting consultant Sanjay Bangar heaped praises for Ravindra Jadeja for his spectacular performance in the CSK vs RCB match of IPL 2021. Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar said that Jadeja was the game-changer in the match, which Chennai Super Kings won by 69 runs. Jadeja scored 62 runs off 28 balls while batting and scalped three wickets while bowling.

Jadeja’s starred in the 20 over of Harshal Patel, when he smashed 5 sixes to pile up 37 runs from the single over. The costly final over drastically changed the complexion of the game, with RCB needing to chase 192 runs for victory in the 2nd innings.

While bowling, Jadeja bagged the crucial wickets of Washington Sundar, Glenn Maxwell, and AB de Villiers. He also run-out Daniel Christian, adding 4 wickets to his tally in the game.

Ravindra Jadeja Was The Game-Changer In The Match: Sanjay Bangar

Post the match, Sanjay Bangar lauded Ravindra Jadeja for his splendid performance in the game. He pointed out that Jadeja has gained a lot of confidence since 2016.

“He’s gained a lot of confidence. Right from 2016, he started playing regularly in the Test format and then he kept on making contributions to the team’s cause, even overseas. I think he has grown as a batsman,” Sanjay Bangar said.

Bangar also said that Ravindra Jadeja was the game-changer in the match.

“We all knew that he had fantastic potential because he is someone who has already scored three triple hundreds in domestic cricket. So, it is good to see he is contributing to the Indian team’s cause and for CSK as well because he was the game-changer today and all credit to CSK for having outplayed us,” Sanjay Bangar added.

Ravindra Jadeja was awarded player of the match for his outstanding performance with the bat and the ball. With the victory, Chennai Super Kings moved to the top of the IPL 2021 points table. CSK have won 4 games out of 5. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost their top spot in IPL 2021 points table and slipped to the 3rd spot.

However, RCB have also won 4 games out of 5. Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next game while Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Delhi Capitals in their next encounter of IPL 2021.
