Ben Duckett will aim to grab his first deal in the IPL 2024 auction. The England wicketkeeper has placed himself in Rs. 2 crore category for the auction. IPL 2024 auction takes place on December 19 in Dubai. Ben Duckett has not played in any IPL tournament so far.

The 29-year-old is a wicketkeeper-batsman who has already made his international debut for England. The left-handed batsman has played 15 Tests, 10 ODIs, and 11 T20Is for England since 2016. He also played against Bangladesh in a T20I series in March this year.

3. Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians (MI) is the first team that can target Ben Duckett in IPL 2024 auction. For wicketkeepers, MI only has one big name- Ishan Kishan. Vishnu Vinod is another keeper but he lacks international experience.

The Rohit Sharma-led side might grab Duckett during the auction to manage Ishan Kishan’s workload. The five-time IPL champions have Rs. 17.75 crore left in their kitty and can grab 4 more overseas players.

2. Royal Challengers Bangalore

Royal Challengers Banglore has Dinesh Karthik as one of the wicketkeepers. However, the right-handed batsman faced a miserable form last year. He could score just 140 runs in 13 games averaging a mere 11.67. He got out for single digits in many games and became a liability for the team.

Since Karthik also does not play in any other league or national team, his form can only be determined during IPL 2024. Delhi Capitals is another franchise that can induct Ben Duckett into their squad. The Rishabh Pant-led side introduced Sarfaraz Khan as a wicketkeeper last year. However, due to his inconsistent show, he was in and out of the playing 11 during the season.
