IPL 2024 Auction: RCB Took 'Loyalty' Dig At Hardik Pandya, MI? Fans Believe So

On Saturday, December 16, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) shared a post on their official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, which led to the fans’ speculation that the franchise was taking a dig at the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya and Mumbai Indians (MI).
Mumbai Indians (MI) has become the most talked about franchise ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction. The franchise has made some sensational moves, which have completely changed the landscape of the side.
MI traded in all-rounder Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans (GT) after his enormously successful 2-year stint with the newcomers. The franchise not only roped in the all-rounder but also handed him the captaincy, replacing arguably the best IPL captain of all time, Rohit Sharma.
This came as a huge surprise for the fans as they expected Rohit Sharma to continue as the skipper of Mumbai Indians (MI) for at least a couple of more years, before being replaced by Hardik Pandya.
Recent reports in the Indian Express suggested that Hardik had set the condition that he would only return to the franchise if he got the captaincy of Mumbai Indians (MI) and the franchise agreed. Fans have been unhappy with the appointment of Hardik as skipper and the franchise has lost over a million followers on social media.
