All 10 IPL franchises are gearing up for the IPL 2024 auction, which is scheduled to take place on December 19 in Dubai. During the mini-auction, franchises will be able to find some new talents. Ahead of the auction, all the teams have been asked to submit their retention lists.

Gujarat Titans have only played two seasons in the Indian Premier League but they have showcased a stunning performance in both. In their debut edition in 2022, GT won the title after crushing Rajasthan Royals in the final.

In the last edition, Gujarat Titans ended as runners-up after losing the final to Chennai Super Kings. However, they were the most successful team after the league stage, winning 10 games out of 14. They also topped the points table after the league stage.

Ahead of the IPL 2024 auction, Gujarat Titans are set to witness one of the biggest transfers in IPL history. Skipper Hardik Pandya is going to leave the team and join his previous team Mumbai Indians. According to reports, the move has been finalized and Pandya will don the MI jersey in the next season.

Hence, GT will need a new skipper in the next season. Currently, some powerful batters in the GT squad are Shubman Gill, Rahul Tewatia, David Miller, and Sai Sudharsan.
