For Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma is the leading run-getter in IPL history. Sharma joined MI in the 2011 season. He has mustered 5041 runs across 194 innings averaging 29.30. The right-handed batsman will not lead the team in IPL 2024. The franchise has nominated Hardik Pandya as the new skipper of the team.

Royal Challengers Bangalore- Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has piled up the most runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kohli accounts for 7263 runs across 237 matches for RCB. He has been part of the team since the debut season in 2008. Kohli has slammed 7 tons and 50 fifties in IPL. He will again play for RCB in IPL 2024. Notably, Kohli is also the leading run-getter in IPL history.

Kolkata Knight Riders- Gautam Gambhir

With 3035 runs across 108 games, Gautam Gambhir has shattered the maximum runs for Kolkata Knight Riders. The former KKR skipper played 108 games for KKR from 2011 to 2017. Gambhir averaged 31.61 and scored 27 fifties for Kolkata Knight Riders. He is the mentor of KKR in IPL 2024.

Sunrisers Hyderabad- David Warner

David Warner parted ways with Sunrisers Hyderabad after IPL 2021. However, his name still pops up if we look at the highest run scorer for SRH in IPL history. Gujarat Titans- Shubman Gill
