The BCCI, on Tuesday (May 20), announced the schedule for the IPL 2025 playoffs matches and the final. While the tournament was originally scheduled to come to an end with the final on May 23, the BCCI had to change the schedule due to the cross-border tension with Pakistan.

The tournament was suspended on May 9 for a week before being resumed on May 17 with the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The final is now scheduled to be played on June 3.

Before the suspension, Hyderabad and Kolkata were originally scheduled to host the playoffs matches and the final. The BCCI stated that the new venues for the Playoffs were decided by the IPL Governing Council, keeping in mind the weather conditions and other parameters.
