With only two retentions, the Punjab Kings will start from scratch at the IPL 2025 mega auction. Rishabh Pant could be a dream buy for PBKS, as this option would not only give them a captain but also see the reunion of the former Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper and former coach Ricky Ponting. The reports already suggested that Punjab is keen on having Pant on the board, but Shreyas Iyer would not also be a bad choice.
