Afghanistan National Cricket Team spinner Allah Ghazanfar has become one of the talking points after Mumbai Indians purchased him for INR 4.80 crore. The franchise got involved in a bidding war with Kolkata Knight Riders but made sure that they acquired him and kept him for the next edition of the league.
This has made many wonder about the 18-year-old Allah Ghazanfar and his career as a player. The 6’2 ft mystery spinner is another product from the spin bowling factory in Afghanistan. Known for his number of variations in carrom ball and wrong’un, the spinners's action is very similar to that of India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy.

Ghazanfar's ability to bowl at the death makes him a valuable asset for any team. The 18-year-old bowling prodigy has been impressive in the T20 Cricket. In the 16 matches that he has played, the mystery spinner has picked 29 wickets at a decent economy of 5.71.
Ghazanfar was part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 earlier this year. He came in as a replacement player for Kolkata Knight Riders for Mujeeb Ur Rahman but didn't get to play the game.
