After the India batter got out, Ishan Kishan (106*) and Head did the further carnage and added 85 runs for the second wicket. Kishan batted till the end and slammed a brilliant hundred. While Nitish Kumar Reddy (30) and Heinrich Klaasen (34) supported him well as SRH posted a massive total of 286 runs.

In the second game, Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians. Asked to bat, the Men in Blue, had a worst possible start to their innings as Rohit Sharma bagged a four-ball duck. Ryan Rickelton (13) and Will Jacks (11) had starts but they also fell in powerplay as the five-time champions were reduced to 36 for three.

But CSK kept chipping in with wickets at regular intervals to leave Mumbai Indians at 128 for eight. Deepak Chahar (28*), in the end, came up with the magical cameo and powered his team to a total of 155 for nine. For Chennai, Noor Ahmad picked four wickets.
Chennai Super Kings, in the chase, didn't have an ideal start as Rahul Tripathi managed just two runs. But skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad (53), who batted at three, came out all guns blazing and registered his fastest fifty in the league.
He, along with Rachin Ravindra, added 67 runs for the second wicket, and Chennai took command of the match. However, debutant Vignesh Puthur tilted the game in favor of Mumbai as he picked three wickets in a flash to pressure on the opposition.
