India pacer Arshdeep Singh has been all over South African batters in the ongoing first ODI against Proteas. The first match of the series between the teams is taking place at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. South Africa’s decision to bat first has been proved wrong by Indian pacers in particular Arshdeep Singh. The left-arm pacer has wreaked havoc across the Proteas batting lineup with his impeccable lines and lengths and made sure that he takes the team off the flier.

Arshdeep Singh has looked nothing short of exceptional in the ongoing game as he has bowled brilliantly in the match. The fast bowler extracted swing from the surface and made sure that he utilized his power to the full extent and troubled Proteas batter. The fast bowler found the outside edge of the batters and also shattered the stumps.

As Arshdeep Singh shattered the stumps of South African batters, his IPL franchise Punjab Kings seized in an opportunity to troll Mumbai Indians. They reminded five-time champions of how the pacer broke the stumps against them during the last edition of the league.

Punjab Kings posted a picture of the broken stumps of Mumbai Indians batters from that game and compared it with the shattered stumps of South Africa batters from today’s game. They posted pictures with the caption: “Everything reminds us of this.”

Notably, Arshdeep Singh produced one of the finest last overs in the history of the league. His team needed to defend 15 runs in the last and he stood tall. The fast bowler bowled magnificently well and removed dangerous Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera by breaking their stumps to win the match for his team.

IND vs SA: India bundle out South Africa for just 116 runs; Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan shine with ball

India had a staggering outing with the ball with the ball in the game against South Africa. They utilized the bowling conditions to great use as they didn’t let the Proteas batter settle at all. Arshdeep Singh was the shining light for the team. But apart from him, Avesh Khan was the other hero for the team as he supported the left-arm pacer incredibly well.

Avesh Khan picked four wickets whereas Kuldeep Yadav bagged one scalp as India bundled out South Africa for 116 runs. Andile Phehlukwayo was the top run-scorer for his team with 33 runs.
