There was a big confusion around the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026 after reports claimed that Ireland could be asked to swap groups with Bangladesh due to rising tensions involving India. However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has now stepped in and put an end to the rumors.

The 10th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup is set to begin on February 7 in India and Sri Lanka. According to the present schedule, Bangladesh has been placed in Group C along with England, the West Indies, Nepal, and Italy.

On the other hand, Ireland is part of Group B, where they will face Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Oman in the upcoming showpiece event.
