Ishan Kishan Credits Team Unity After East Zone’s Historic Triumph
Ishan Kishan was named Player of the Match after scoring 350 runs across the two innings. The East Zone captain credited the team’s unity and collective effort for their success and said the players consistently looked after each other throughout the campaign.
Speaking after the match, Kishan said:
"It's just about playing as one unit. We played as a group and everyone took care of each other. I think I've been a good leader. The journey doesn't end here. There are always some mistakes happening. You have to get better day by day.
It was about being more calm and into the game, how aware you are and how are you reading situations. You have to help other players to not let them get in that zone. More hunger is there, you need to make your team win and that is what has changed in me."
