Jake Fraser-McGurk Bought By Delhi Capitals For INR 9 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Australia youngster Jake Fraser-McGurk will be taking part in the IPL auction for the very first time this year. While he has already played in the competition, he has yet to go under the hammer during an IPL auction.
The highly-rated youngster made his debut in the IPL in 2024, plying his trade for Delhi Capitals. While he went unsold in the auction, the Delhi-based outfit later signed him up as an injury replacement for Lungi Ngidi.
Fraser-McGurk hit the ground running in the IPL, smashing 330 runs with the help of 4 fifties. The opening batsman scored his runs at a strike rate of 234.
Apart from the IPL, the 22-year-old has also played in Major League Cricket, International League T20, and Big Bash League so far.
He has also made his debut for Australia in both the white-ball formats. Fraser-McGurk has played 5 ODIs and 7 T20Is so far. For the upcoming IPL mega auction, he has registered himself at a base price of INR 2 crore.

Delhi Capitals have re-signed Jake Fraser-McGurk for INR 9 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. The Delhi-based outfit used the RTM option to sign the Australian. Punjab Kings made the highest bid at INR 5.50 crore before raising it to 9 crore. With Delhi matching the bid, they signed the Australia star.
