The Japan National Cricket Team will play a friendly match against the India National Cricket Team ahead of the Asian Games 2026. This match is organised for two reasons one is to celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and to act as a crucial warm-up fixture ahead of the 2026 Asian Games, as the Men in Blue play their first match in 28th September.

The game has been named the 'Suzuki Cup' and will be played on Tuesday at the Sano International Cricket Stadium, Japan. This is the first step towards the "Sport 75" initiative, which was agreed upon during a summit between Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
