Jasprit Bumrah reveals shocking plans to leave India to play for this team

India pacer speedster Jasprit Bumrah revealed what he would've done if he had not played cricket for the India National Cricket Team. The fast bowler stated that he would've shifted to Canada and played cricket their their national team.
Jasprit Bumrah arguably is one of the best pacers to have played for India in white and red-ball cricket. It's fair to say that he brings a different class altogether with himself and has played a massive role in India playing dominating cricket in all three formats of the game both at home as well as overseas.
Even in such a short period, Jasprit Bumrah has developed a reputation as the most threatening bowler in the world. What has been impressive is, that the fast bowler has been showing an incredible amount of consistency in all three formats of the game for the India National Cricket Team.
It's fair to say ever since Jasprit Bumrah came onto the scene, the Indian bowling attack has looked completely different from what it was earlier. From struggling to take 20 wickets in Tests outside India to making it a habit, the contribution of Bumrah has been amazing for the team.
It is because of Jasprit Bumrah that oppositions fear India's bowling lineup and struggles to score runs freely. The fast bowler often has tilted the game in his team's favor from losing position and is one of the main reasons behind India's triumph in Australia, South Africa, and England.
Jasprit Bumrah in a shocking revelation stated that he was all set to shift to Canada. He said that he was waiting for his education to get over and move abroad if he didn't have a career in cricket in India. Speaking in an interview with his wife for JioCinema, he explained:
"We have had these conversations before. Every boy wants to make it big and play cricket. Every street has 25 players who want to play for India. You have to have a backup plan. Our relative lives there. I thought I will finish my education and... my uncle lives there. First we thought we would go as a family, then my mum did not want to go there as it's a different culture."

Jasprit Bumrah further stated that he is happy that things worked out in his favor. He made a bold statement, saying that had he not made a career in India then he would've played for some Canadian team. He elaborated:
"I am very happy and very lucky that things worked out, Otherwise I don't know I would have tried to play for the Canadian team and do something there as well."
Jasprit Bumrah so far has played 36 Tests, 89 ODIs, and 62 T20ls for the national team. The fast bowler has taken 159, 149, and 74 wickets, respectively. In the the IPL as well he has been magnificent. The fast bowler has 150 wickets and is second on the list of Indian pacers with the most wickets in the league's history.
